It is a handwoven Scottish wool fabric. Harris Tweed can only be called a woolen fabric that is woven on the islands of the west coast of Scotland. The inhabitants of the island weave the fabric at home from virgin wool, it is spun and dyed in the Outer Hebrides. The fabric is still made in the same way as centuries ago, upholding the fine traditions of Harris Tweed.
